Dinometer does not require an app account. There are no ads, public profiles, chats, social features or uploads of photos, videos or voice recordings. The app does not use the camera, microphone recordings, contacts or location. Prices, purchases and restoration are accessible only after a parent check. This gate does not prevent the purchase service from starting when the app opens.
Language, audio and display preferences, favorites, and an optional name and height for size comparison are stored on the device. The app does not send these details, search queries or dinosaur listening history to Pixelbaum or RevenueCat. Pictures, text and audio are bundled with the app; they do not require ongoing downloads or an online speech service. The legal basis for local processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR to provide your chosen app features. Depending on device settings, operating-system backups may save and restore local app data; the relevant device or cloud provider manages those backups.
Payments for the full collection are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. We do not receive complete payment card or banking details. The app uses RevenueCat, Inc., USA, for product offers, checking unlocks and restoring purchases. RevenueCat starts when the app opens and synchronizes purchase status, including before a purchase and outside the parent area.
This may involve a random pseudonymous RevenueCat app identifier, platform, operating-system and app version, language, first and last connection times, product and transaction identifiers, store receipts, and purchase or entitlement status. Network requests disclose an IP address. RevenueCat may derive a country from it or use the transaction country; its documentation states that the IP is discarded after determining the country. Data is encrypted in transit. RevenueCat processes purchase-service information on our behalf; Apple and Google process store and payment data under their own privacy policies.
Carrying out and restoring optional purchases is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. For technical status synchronization before a purchase, we rely on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: our interest is reliably recognizing an existing unlock and keeping purchase functionality available. To protect children, we limit this flow to pseudonymous technical and purchase information, disable diagnostics and automatic device identifiers, and do not transmit child profiles or content activity. RevenueCat also provides purchase statistics, helping us understand purchases, refunds and the reliability of purchase handling. For these statistics and purchase security, we rely on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is reliable operation of the purchase offer. We do not create usage profiles of a child's activity with individual dinosaurs.
RevenueCat diagnostics and automatic device-identifier collection are disabled. We do not send children's names, heights, favorites, search queries, listening history, email addresses, GPS location data or advertising identifiers to RevenueCat. There is no separate advertising, behavioral-analytics or crash-reporting SDK. Data is not sold or shared for advertising.
RevenueCat may process and store purchase-service information in the United States. RevenueCat’s published data processing terms describe safeguards including EU Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant international transfers. You can ask us for information about the safeguards. See the RevenueCat privacy policy and RevenueCat data processing agreement. The independent store processing is covered by Apple and Google.
Local app data remains until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled; device backups may retain or restore copies. This does not delete store purchases. The purchase service retains the pseudonymous identifier and status for as long as needed to manage and restore the unlock. Transaction records may be subject to legal and contractual retention obligations.
For access to or deletion of purchase-service information, email [email protected]. We may need a suitable purchase reference to identify the record. An email address alone does not let us identify a random app identifier without a purchase. Do not send passwords or full payment details. We review the request and arrange deletion with RevenueCat where possible. Deletion may affect verification or restoration of an unlock. Records that must legally be retained and independent store data are excluded. Using the purchase service again or restoring a purchase may create new purchase-service records.
When you contact us, we process your email address, message, communication times and technical details you choose to provide so we can handle the request. Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR applies to purchase or contract matters; otherwise we rely on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, with the legitimate interest of responding to inquiries. Our email provider is mailbox.org, Heinlein Hosting GmbH, Germany. We delete correspondence after the matter is resolved unless retention obligations or necessary legal records require otherwise.
These support and privacy pages have no analytics or advertising scripts of their own. When you visit, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical access data for secure delivery. See our website privacy policy for details about the website.
Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and data portability.
