A dinosaur fact to share
Velociraptor was about two metres long, with much of that length made up by its tail. It was far smaller than the famous movie raptors. Fossils preserve attachment points for feathers on its forearm, and the second toe carried a strongly curved claw.

Fossils provide evidence for feathers. Modern scientific reconstructions therefore usually show Velociraptor with a feather covering.
